No Fuss
Sometimes, especially on dreary days like today, it's easy to not get out of bed and lounge around in sweats. But as Karl Lagerfeld once said, "sweatpants signify defeat." When the creative juices aren't flowing, it's best to just go with what you know what works.

Tis The Season
When it comes to holiday dressing, most people go with glitter, velvet, or paid. I think it's just another opportunity to push limits. Here, I went with a typical plaid dress, but I added black and white, Saint Laurent esque, shoes for contrast. This made for a more head turning outfit without demanding too much attention.

Bound 2
When I first laid eyes on these beautiful tartan pants, I knew it was love at first site. They are so parisian, it hurts. These got great with winter knits, turtlenecks, and racer backs to transition into spring. I also love these pants because there are endless options when it comes to shoes. Here, I am wearing oxblood loafers to bring out the red in the pants, but I scheme of wearing them with leopard flats or my Miu Mius, for a little clashing action.

Set The Scene
My favorite transition piece for the summer/ fall season has to be a set. A set is a matching top and skirt or short. It can look like a romper or a dress minus baring a bit of your mid drift. They come in solids and patterns. It is important to make sure the pattern isn't too overwhelming especially if you have a petite frame.
