Set The Scene

My favorite transition piece for the summer/ fall season has to be a set. A set is a matching top and skirt or short. It can look like a romper or a dress minus baring a bit of your mid drift. They come in solids and patterns. It is important to make sure the pattern isn't too overwhelming especially if you have a petite frame.

Battle Wounds In The Name Of New Shoes

Okay, so i bought these shoes about a month ago, but I FINALLY broke them in. Sneakers are typically comfy but these ones look odd with socks so I had to go in commando. It took two painful wears to break these suckers in. Despite having some severe battle scars, it was so worth, I am sickly obsessed with these snow leopard sneaks.

Expect to see these loafers a lot on the blog, they are my favorite edition to my closet. They will with out a doubt be a fall staple of mine.

Made In America

Although, I missed the main event (Beyonce). I still had a blast at day 2 of Made In America. This is a Labor Day music festival in Philadelphia. The music liners includes big headliners like Jay Z or Beyonce but also lesser known artists. The concert starts at 12 but goes on late into the night. Here are a few snap shots from my day at the parkway.
